Sedona Home Builders Blitz 2018

Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity is proud to begin its first Home Builders Blitz in Sedona, AZ in July 2018

About the Home Builders Blitz

Habitat for Humanity’s 2017 Home Builders Blitz represents the relationship between our organization and professional builders as we work together to help families across the United States build strength, stability and self-reliance.

Three unit town-homes for 2018 Habitat for Humanity Builders Blitz Build designed by Dan Surber, Architect

The first ever Habitat for Humanity Builder’s Blitz will happen in Uptown Sedona this July-August 2018. We will be building 3 homes in 14 days in partnership with the Builders that have committed their time and energy to complete these 3 homes. During the Home Builders Blitz the Builders do most of the construction as volunteers and with in-kind donations, but it takes the community to plan, organize and execute everything.  We need our community to volunteer to help us with this planning, organizing and then the execution during the build.

The Homeowner Application Workshop helps applicants understand the application process and what to expect. If you are interested in attending our Homeowner Application Workshops Click Here to register.

This is an exciting time for Sedona and Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity!  The community is coming together to make this happen and its a great time to be part of this community event! If you are interested in volunteering click the button below….

We will be building a 3-home Tri-plex with each unit averaging 1200 sq ft per unit. The cost for this Habitat for Humanity Home Builder’s Blitz is approximately $500,000.

Verde Valley Habitat is very lucky and grateful to have the following Builders sign on to this amazing project in Sedona…

This is what people that have partnered with us in various ways have had to say…
