AZ Charitable Tax Donation

Dear Friend of Habitat,

Shondra Ryan and her daughter with two other children live in Sedona. Their Habitat home provides a safe and secure place to live where the entire family is thriving. They no longer have to move each year living in rentals that are unsafe. Her oldest son is looking forward to attending college next year, a dream they never thought would be fulfilled.

On this page you see the faces of our Habitat for Humanity homeowners and their children. These are the faces of your Verde Valley neighbors, who through your donations and generous support have had there lives dramatically changed for the good. You have made an enduring and generational effect on their lives.

Housing is the single most significant factor in determining the strength, stability, and self-reliance of a family and the
success of the children.
The need for permanent and stable housing in our communities has never been greater. The median home cost in Cottonwood is $257,000 and is upward of $555,000 in Sedona. In addition to the high cost of housing in our area, the ability for low-income families to own their own home, is also complicated by the gap between low wages and housing costs.

If not for your support to Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity, these families would not have been able to fulfill their dreams of owning their own home.

Since 1995, we have successfully served 94 people through affordable housing and critical home repairs. That success is because of you. The need continues to grow, and we need your financial help more than ever. Your support strengthens our entire community. Working together, good things happen!

We won’t stop, until everyone has a decent place to live.

Sincerely,

Tania Simms
Executive Director

P.S. KEEP YOUR DOLLARS LOCAL
Your donation today to Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity will be used to help a local family achieve independence through home ownership.

Nikki Leitner an approved VVHFH homeowner eagerly anticipates providing the sweat equity required to build her Rimrock home for herself and her three children.

To help Nikki build her home, a donation of $1000 will pay for a bathroom and a donation of $25 will help buy a box of screws.

Your donation goes even further if you take advantage of the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.
