Verde Valley Habitat Volunteer Opportunities
Habitat for Humanity International is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing and providing affordable housing to those in need. Since its founding in Americus, Ga., in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has built more than 225,000 houses in nearly 100 countries, providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for more than 1 million people and we could not achieve these goals without you, the Volunteer!
Volunteer work provides an opportunity to grow, to bond and to experience good feelings that are carried back to life through your family and the workplace. Our local affiliate, Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity, is 100% volunteer! We have no paid staff, and each person who works beside you is there for their own reasons; they just plain want to help! Whether you are new to the area, recently retired, widowed or you wish to involve your youth or business group in a worthwhile project, give us a call. It is amazing what we can accomplish with just one additional pair of hands.

Construction
We are currently preparing the home site for Home Number 10 and we hope you will be moved to volunteer your time to help us prepare the site and build Angela's new home.

ReStore
We currently need assistance in our Home Improvement ReStore. We need drivers and assistants to pick up donated items each Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings we unload, clean, sort and merchandise items. Thursday – Saturday we need floor help while the store is open to the public.
Volunteer Office
We can always use help Tuesday – Saturday, answering our phones and screening donation calls.
Become a Board Member/Committee Chairman
We need volunteer assistance in our decision-making body. Our Board meets monthly and forms committees on an as-needed to prepare for events. If you have skills in fundraising, grant writing, volunteer organizing or if you just want to be part of our team, give us a call at 928-649-6788.

Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity is a new financial, volunteer and advocacy alliance formed between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity International.Corporate Partners
Businesses of all sizes work with Habitat to help eliminate poverty housing locally and around the world through in Kind Donations and Grants.
Materials sold by our Habitat ReStore are usually donated from building supply stores, contractors, demolition crews or from individuals who wish to show their support for Habitat. In addition to raising funds, Our ReStore helps the environment by re channeling good, usable materials into use.
