By donating a car to The Habitat Cars for Homes™ Car
Donation Program, you help Verde Valley build houses in
partnership with families in need of decent, affordable
shelter.
It is quick and easy to donate a car, truck, boat, RV,
motorcycle, construction equipment or other vehicle —
running or not! And when you donate your car, your
vehicle donation may be eligible for tax deduction, if
you itemize. Consult the IRS or your tax adviser
for details.

Donations
Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity relies on the good works, donations
and generosity of local and regional businesses and suppliers
to meet
its material needs for each project. When we can't get outright
donations of materials, we try to obtain materials at or below cost
so
that the price tag of the finished house is as low as possible.
Many local businesses are proud to associate their names
with Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity. Our 'Carpenters Club'
is designed to allow local, small businesses to participate
and contribute to the Habitat for Humanity mission.
Members make
monthly donations of $10 or more, thereby enabling Verde Valley Habitat
for Humanity to maintain a cash flow that
will better serve the
community.
For those persons and businesses interested in publicity, we
are happy to include their names and contact information, as
partners and/or donors, on our website. We also understand
there are some who prefer to make donations
anonymously, and we will respect their desire for privacy. Please

Tax Deductions and Credits
Remember that all cash donations are tax deductible. In-kind donations
(of materials or professional labor) are also tax
deductible, based on claimed value. Recent changes to Arizona's income tax
laws also allow companies and/or individuals to receive a
tax credit, up to $200, for contributions to certain charitable organizations, such as Verde Valley
Habitat for Humanity.
You may be eligible
for this credit if:

You itemized deductions in a previous tax year

You established a "baseline amount" of charitable
contributions in a previous tax year
